How Lexihealth works
Quality Healthcare in Only Three Steps
To use our Concierge service, we first register you as a Lexihealth patient. At this point we ask you to read and accept our Terms & Conditions and provide payment details - either credit/debit card or bank details. We then ask you to pay a Case Fee for us to begin managing your healthcare enquiry.
2. Payment & Invoicing
Throughout your healthcare journey, we will notify you in advance of any known or likely costs and ensure we have your approval before taking any payment. We will receive all invoices from any healthcare providers for your treatment and handle all payments on your behalf using the payment details taken during registration.
For long-term peace of mind, you can become a Lexihealth member. This means you (and your family and friends, if you choose) have one of our Patient Liaison Managers on-hand, ready to deal with any health enquiries, whenever they arise. And, with no Case Fees, you can also add Concierge Plus for a full range of additional lifestyle management services.

What is concierge?
Our concierge service aids you through your healthcare journey. We work collaboratively with patients to find the right consultant for their health needs, streamline the billing process, arrange your appointments, inform you of the relevant costs, making your medical journey as smooth as possible.
What is ‘self-pay’?
To avoid NHS waiting lists, or being restricted to certain practitioners through private medical insurance, ‘self-pay’ patients can have the choice and flexibility of appointments in locations and with practitioners that they wish to see. ‘Self-pay’ patients pay the consultant fees and facilities fees (blood tests, medical procedures are just some examples). As this can get a little confusing at times, Lexihealth streamlines this process for transparent, simple billing.
What kind of patients do you take?
We take patients from conception, all the way through to palliative (end of life care).
What specialities do you cover?
We can help guide patients through every speciality. Our services range of genetic testing, oncology, fertility, private GP services, orthopaedic, paediatrics and many more.
Why should I use your network of consultants?
Our network of consultants is selected by our Medical Advisory Committee (MAC), made up of the leading clinicians in their speciality, ensuring patients see the right clinicians for their needs. The facilities in our network consist of the best private clinics and private patient units in London.
Why do you need a brief medical history?
To direct you to the right consultant for your needs, we need to understand your medical background to identify where consultant’s interests will best suit your requirements.
Can you hold medical documents for me?
We do not handle or hold any medical documents. We provide the relevant contact information for patients to forward their information directly onto the consultant and facility themselves.
How do the family and extended family subscriptions work?
When choosing a family or extended family membership, you do not have to provide the names of everyone on your list at the beginning of your membership, you can choose to add these when the need arises. However, when a person is added to the membership, they cannot be removed or replaced until the end of the membership year.
Can I use my private medical insurance (PMI) and still use your company’s services?
Yes. We can help you find the best practitioner for your needs, but you will have to liaise with your insurance company with regards to whether this practitioner and any relevant diagnostics needed are covered by them. Our Case Fee and Subscription charges are not covered by insurance companies.
Can I move between PMI, self-pay and the NHS?
If you commence your medical enquiry in the NHS, using private medical insurance (PMI) or the self-pay avenue – you do not have to complete this enquiry only using the same avenue, you can move between these options. For example, if you have a NHS GP appointment, but want to use your PMI to see a specialist, you can do this. If, for example, you need an MRI scan that your PMI doesn’t cover, but you don’t want to join the NHS waiting list, you can self-pay for the MRI scan and follow up with your PMI specialist.
Can I use Lexihealth’s services if I have a pre-condition?
Yes, you can have full use of Lexihealth services regardless of preconditions.
Do consultations cost more through your service?
Where possible, we can always provide the exact price of consultations and an estimate of any likely procedures that may occur in or following the consultation. As procedures can vary, will we provide you with an exact, final cost after the consultation. We will liaise closely with you throughout to make sure you are well informed at each stage of the process.
How can I approach Lexihealth to be a Lexihealth approved consultant?
The consultants we work with have been personally recommended by our Medical Advisory Committee (MAC). Our MAC are all leaders in their respective fields and have put forward the consultants that they refer to and who they would want to treat their family and friends. If you would like to be presented to our MAC for inclusion in our directory then please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How does Lexihealth work with consultants?
We work closely with our consultants and their teams, to best understand their patient pathways and their clinical interests so they can provide the best possible care for our patients.

How it Works?
Every body is unique. So in addition to the screenings which your own medical team may request, we offer three levels of tailored service. Each works in the same way:
1. We will discuss your needs and advise you of the likely overall costs.
2. We will arrange all appointments and payments in advance.
3. Following a GP assessment, your screening needs may change. In which case we will refund you or advise you of the costs of any increase.
4. We will also follow up and advise you of any further steps.
To book or discuss any screenings simply contact us today by phone or email, and we will reply, in confidence, within 1 hour.
